Hipster Animals - Product Shoot

Every now and then a job pops up in my email that makes me do a little excited dance, and this one was exactly that.

Betty - the creative mind behind Hipster Animals - clever, quirky illustrations of moustachioed foxes, bespectacled owls, and beanie-wearing bears, printed onto t-shirts and colouring books. She's also a local Auckland mum, building something amazing of her own, and there's nothing I love more than getting behind the camera for other mums doing exactly that.

We spent the morning together photographing her brand new t-shirt range and colouring books, ready for her new website. My goal, as always, was to keep things honest and relaxed - images with real personality, that let her designs do the talking.

It was a morning full of laughs, quick changes, and a genuinely lovely time getting to know Betty. I always feel so lucky that this is my job.
