Hey, I’m Emily,

Family & Brand Photographer based in Auckland

I’m a storyteller, professional light-chaser, spicy-brained, hard-working Mum of two.

I started my first photography company Clipic back in 2011.

It rapidly grew into a successful photography business that took me across New Zealand - and the world - capturing people, editorials and lots of weddings.

I also worked in the Film industry for the past 15 years, specialising in Visual Effects Photography & 3D Capture.

I have captured cities across Europe, islands in Thailand and mountain ranges strapped to a helicopter. I have photographed endless hollywood actors and performers - including a 14-foot python in London named Steve*

Then, in 2022 I became a Mum, and my entire world shifted in the most wonderful way. I knew I wanted to pivot into work that allowed me to be at home with my kids.

As exciting as the international film industry is, these days slowly growing my Little & Light brand while raising my two tiny humans is exactly where I love to be.

I’m still an adventure-seeker, which translates perfectly into my photo sessions. Want a photographer that’s not afraid to run around in the mud with your kids in order to grab the best shots? Oh yeah - that’s definitely me!!!

This work brings me so much joy, and I feel so incredibly lucky that 15 years later I am still able to feed that fire in me that loves to shoot and document stories.

When I work with you, I make it fun and playful as I gently guide you through the session and help you feel at ease.

I’m not here for any awkward forced poses or pinterest fluff - I’m here to capture the real glimpse into your life, exactly as it is right now.

Perhaps it feels like life is chaos right now, but these are the moments you will look back on years from now

And don’t worry - I never forget the smile-at-the-camera photo for the grandparents, they need something to frame too!
